Simulation
My environmental policy course ran a simulation to demonstrate the difficulties of negotiating when it comes to worldwide legislation. This legislation would be ideal for environmental law because all environments can be effected by one single country. Many countries differ on culture, belief, and economics which make this negotiation difficult. I played the role of President Obama, representing the United States.
USA Goals
My goal as the player for the US was to achieve an agreement to slow global warming and reduce emissions of greenhouse gases that includes full participation by India and China. Pending legislation would reduce 17% of emissions by 2025.
For islands like the Maldives, this reduction would not be sufficient. The islands would still be effected by rising waters. For countries like China, a law like this would be to restrictive as they are still developing.

Clean Air Act Issue Tracker
Volkswagen has recently had many issues pertaining to the Clean Air Act. I completed a research paper focusing on these issues and why the issues arose in the first place. I found that this environmental issue is also an economic issue.

Social Media and Extroversion
A group research presentation was conducted to test if there was a correlation between extroversion and social media usage amongst individuals. The research was done prior to testing to see what previous studies show. A hypothesis was formed based on previous research. Surveys were constructed and conducted to test the hypothesis.
